Empowerment Support Services provides a range of disability services, aiming to make a difference in the lives of those with disabilities. Here are just some of the ways we can help you.

Assistance With Household Tasks
These includes tasks such as meal preparation and delivery, house or yard maintenance, cleaning and laundry.

Participation In The Community
This includes supported shopping, medical appointments, sporting and recreational events, social activities, visiting or making new friends, travel and transport and building confidence and social skills.

Assistance With Life Stage Transitions
We assist with mentoring, peer support, individual skill development and decision making to support you to make the transition on your terms and in a way that meets your goals and aspirations.

Assistance With Household Tasks
Assisting participants to maintain their area of living. This may include cleaning, gardening, basic indoor and outdoor home maintenance, laundry and also meal preparation.

Community Participation
Assistance to engage in community, social and recreational activities, transport and assistance for medical appointments, school drop off and pick up, work, shopping and community activities.

Assist With Life Stage Transition
Assisting participants capacity to transition from one stage to another stage in life, including partaking in major milestones. This can include peer support, mentoring, mental health recovery, coaching etc.

Assistance With Daily Personal Activities
We will assist you with tasks to help enable you to live as autonomously as possible including personal hygiene, dressing and medication assistance.

Assistance With Group/ Shared Living Daily Tasks
We provide support to help you as an individual in a group settings with what you need to live as independently as possible.

Development of Important Life Skills
We provide developmental-focused activities and training to enhance your ability to live as independently an everyday life as possible.

Daily Personal Activities
This service assists participants to ensure their personal care and hygiene is always upheld. This includes personal care tasks such as showering, toileting, changing etc. This is done in the participant’s home.

Assistance With Daily Tasks & Shared Living
This service is known as SIL (supported independent living). This involves assisting participants within a shared living arrangement. This includes personal care, showering, dressing, toileting, mobility, appointment assistance, short term accommodation etc.

Development of Life Skills
Assisting participants to develop and maintain important life skills such as learning about public transport, resumes, taxes, saving skills, social skills, physical activity skills etc.

School Leaver Employment Supports
School Leaver Employment Supports (SLES) is part of the National Disability Insurance Scheme to help support participants as they transition from school to work. SLES is available in the final years of school and directly after school.

Respite
Temporary care of a sick, elderly or disabled person, providing relief for their usual carer. We tailor our services to your specific needs. Short-term and long-term options available. Our friendly support workers can provide help and support while you enjoy a well earned break.

Support Coordination
Support coordinators will support you to manage challenges in your support environment which may include health, education or justice services. Support coordination helps you to make the best use of your supports in plan. Support coordination is a capacity building support which helps you to understand and use your NDIS plan to pursue your goals and connect you with NDIS providers, community, mainstream and other government services.
